With over a decade of experience working my way up from general laborer to project manager, I’ve gained firsthand insight into what it takes to succeed and thrive in this dynamic field.
Early in my career, I faced many challenges—transitioning from a leasing agent in real estate to working on construction sites was a leap into the unknown. I started at the ground level, getting my hands dirty, learning the trade, and developing the skills necessary to excel. Through perseverance, humility, and a commitment to growth, I climbed the ladder from assistant site supervisor to site supervisor, eventually becoming a project manager responsible for multiple large-scale projects.
One of the most valuable lessons I learned along the way is that success isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about showing up, staying organized, asking the right questions, and building trust through reliability and transparency. This approach has not only helped me lead successful projects but has also built lasting relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, and mentors.
